I work with leadership teams while they're going through growth or a transition. The work is less dramatic than that sounds. Most of the time it's a group of capable people who have stopped being able to talk to each other well, and a conversation that needs somebody from outside to hold its shape.
I've been doing this since 2017. First as lead facilitator at Atlanta Challenge, running leadership and team development sessions for corporate groups and executive teams, then on my own through Sxope starting in 2022.
I also still run an operation. I manage a 70,000-square-foot distribution center with thirty people and three supervisors under me, and I handle the hiring, the firing, the safety, and the schedule. When I took it over the service rate sat in the thirties. It's above ninety now.
I mention that because most people who facilitate conversations about how teams work together haven't led one under real pressure in a long while. I'm doing it Monday through Friday, which keeps me honest about which ideas survive a normal week.

How I work
Most teams already have more information than they can use, so I try to get a group down to the one thing that matters. People hold to decisions they argued their way into. Every organization has its own history and its own things nobody says out loud, and a framework that ignores those gets politely ignored back. What I'm measuring is the few weeks after the session, once everyone is back in their normal work.
